The work
A doctor-led UK skincare brand sells online, and its customers search for honest answers before they buy. The brand already had a blog. In May 2026, the month before we started, its pages were shown in Google about 2,100 times and earned 213 clicks.
We worked on it with our partners, The Boutique Consultancy. We started in late June with a full search and AI audit, then fixed the site underneath. The homepage went from 51 to 95 on Google’s mobile speed test, from 88 to 100 on accessibility, and it passed all three of Google’s checks for AI agents. Those are health scores, not rankings. They are the floor the rest of the work stands on.
Then the writing. We rewrote the older articles that were closest to page one, then added new ones. Each article answers its question in the opening lines, in plain English, with its sources linked.
By late August, Google’s AI answer to a common question about the brand’s main type of cream listed one of our rewritten articles as its first source and cited it twice. The same page was the top ordinary result underneath. For two product searches, the AI answer listed the brand as a source too.
Between May and October, the times its pages were shown in Google each month went from 2,096 to 19,087. Clicks grew more slowly, from 213 to 497. We can’t say every extra click came from our work. We can say this is what happened from the month we started.
